Tantruming Threes

You know those people who say that it isn't the terrible two's that are the problem, it's really the three's? Those people are parents of a three year old.

And you know those days when you a fighting with a three year old and you realize, wait, I'm the adult, why am I arguing with a three year old? Yeah those are fun.

Oh Kari, I feel for you. 2 is hard because it is tough to reason with them. 3 is hard because you feel they really should know better, and they just know how to press your buttons. Oh man, I still have two more kids to get through the 2's and 3's and I am getting a headache just thinking about it. But then they'll be teenagers and we'll long for the days when a tantrum in public was our biggest problem.

That's very true Kristen, I don't look forward to the teen years at all. I would take a tantrum any day over that. It seems like every new stage makes the past ones seem easy.

Can't wait for that to be me!! Honestly though, sometimes even now I have to remind myself that I'm the adult and Topher just has to ride in his car seat. Good luck with Will!!

I found that out the hard way as well. I'll let you know that four isn't tons better because they push the boundaries still and they get into things. My friend Misty says that if you are arguing with a toddler you've already lost. I sometimes wish I had a padded room...for me. ;)

I know for a fact that all my children learn two things from me:

how to roll their eyes

sarcasm (you think?)

It's a losing battle.
