Willism

After Will smashed his finger in a drawer and I'm holding him:

Me: kiss his finger
Will: Mom, this owie doesn't need a kiss. Maybe later it will need one. But kisses aren't for these kind of owies. Kisses are for when people want to cuddle. (gives me a hug) These kind of owies just need a band aid.

Please don't tell me the days of my magic kisses are over. Or that we have reached the days of having to explain that only mommies and daddies do "those things".
