Steak Attack

I have a new restaurant on my favorites list, Downtown Philly Cheesesteaks. Oh man they are wonderful! The bread is amazing, the meat is great, the peppers, onions, cheese, just a perfect combo.

I would have taken a photo of my lunch, but I'm too embarrassed to do such things. But trust me, awesome. And to make it feel a little more like Philly, they sell TastyKake and Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer (on tap and bottled), which is the best stuff ever. And my co-worker from PA has given his authentic approval.

So if you are craving an awesome sandwich in Utah, try them out. And as soon as cheesesteaks become good for you, I will be visiting weekly.

Hmmm...I guess if Pen has given his approval...I'm skeptical. If we can somehow work in a visit to Pat's - you can taste test.

Did you get the Cheez-Whiz steak? I think that's the only way to go with a Philly Cheesesteak. Take a picture next time!

I didn't get the Cheez-Whiz, but my boss did. I got Cheez-Whiz when I was in PA last summer, and I see the appeal as far as you really taste the cheese product. But in general the provolone just tastes better.
